London International Universities Fencing Tournament

The London International Universities Fencing Cup is one of Europe's largest friendly international student fencing competitions and a unique event, combining a very high level of fencing with a friendly student atmosphere. It is a mixed (male and female), individual competition including all three weapons. In the past ten years, it has seen fencers of all abilities, from Olympic medallists to beginners in their first competition, representing universities from four continents. Guests have included the President of the British Fencing Association, a member of the Executive of the British Olympic Association, a member of the International Olympic Committee and our very own Dean.
We hope that students from your university, whether they have come year after year or for the very first time, will be able come to London and compete.

Tournoi International d'Escrime Universitaire de Londres (LIUF)

LIUF est un des tournois internationals estudiantins d’escrime amicaux les plus grands d’Europe et un événement unique qui combine un niveau très élevé d’escrime à une atmosphère estudiantine amicale. C’est un tournoi individuel mixte (masculin et féminin) qui comprend les trois armes. Pendant les dix dernères années, on a vu des escrimeurs de tous niveaux, de médaillés olympiques aux débutants qui font leur premier tournoi, tout en représentant des universités des quatres continents. Parmi des invités sont le Président de l’Association Britannique de l’Escrime, un membre du corps exécutif de l’Association Britannique des Jeux Olympiqies, un membre du Comité Internationale des Jeux Olympiques et notre propre Doyen.
On espère que des étudiants de votre université, même s’ils vont année après année ou viennent pour la première fois, peuvent venir tirer à Londres.

LIUF ist ein der größten freundlichen europäischen Studentfechtturnieren und ein eindeutiges Ereignis, das ein sehr hohes Fechtenniveau mit einer freundlichen Atmosphäre koppelt. Es ist ein individuelles gemischtes Turnier, das die drei Waffen umfasst. In den letzten zehn Jahren sieht man Fechter von allen Niveaus, von olympischen Medaillengewinnern bis Anfängern, die an ihren ersten Turnier teilnehmen, die Universitäten aus vier Kontinenten vertreten. El torneo « LIUF » es un de los competiciones amicales de esgrima universitaria los más grandes de toda la Europa, además de ser el solo de su tipo en el mundo. Esta único en combinar un nivel alto de esgrima con un ambiente joven y amable. Es un torneo mixto (masculino y femenina) y individual que incluya todos los tres armas. Antes que su primera vez, hace casi una docena de años, hemos visto los esgrimidores de todos las nivelas, de los campeones olímpicos a los principiantes a su primera competición. En adición, nuestros invitados han figurados el presidente del BFA (British Fencing Association), un miembro del asociación británico de los Juegos Olímpicos, un miembro del CIO (Comité Internacional Olímpico), y nuestro proprio decano del University College London.

Gara della Scherma Internazionale per Studenti di Londra (LIUF)

LIUF è una delle più grandi gare della scherma internazionale per studenti in Europa. Questa gara è un evento unico, abbinando un livello molto alto della scherma con un’atmosfera molto amichevole. Si fa una gara individuale mista (maschile e femminile) per tutte le tre arme. Durante i dieci anni passati schermatori di tutte le abilità hanno partecipato a questa gara, dai medallisti olimpici ai schermatori principianti nella loro prima gara, rappresentando le università da quattro continenti! Tra i nostri ospiti sono notevoli il Presidente dell’associazione della scherma britannica, un membro dell’esecutivo dell’associazione olimpica britannica, un membro del comitato olimpico internazionale ed anche il nostro decano!
Speriamo che gli studenti dalla vostra università possano venire a Londra per fare questa gara, sia quelli che sono venuti ogni anno sia per la prima volta!
