Hi all!
Welcome to another action packed PGA Bulletin!
It's a busy time in UCL Union at the moment (which is partly why you are receiving the March bulletin a little early) and your experience has never been more valued! Practically all the Union is doing at the moment is trying to gather your views. There are UCL Union elections going on at the moment, and every candidate needs your vote! Make sure you have a look, maybe ask a question or two, and definitely vote.
We're also running our Annual Membership Survey which will reward you with real output and potentially prizes! Look out for people walking around with mobile surveys as well as they offer free drinks!
And lastly, but going against common practice most importantly, there is the huge matter of the Union Annual General Meeting! 3pm, February 27th, Bloomsbury Theatre - come down and debate the future of the Union! Large changes are afoot and your voice can sway a room. Make a difference!
As always, if you wish to submit your own events, news or advertisements for housing, etc please send an email to d.hawk@ucl.ac.uk and remember to include important information like dates, times and contact details.
Until next time!

Medical and Postgraduate Students' Officer
Back to top
Elected officers make very important decisions about the Union which affect all students, including postgraduates. For example, the Medical and Postgraduate Students’ Officer this year has worked to extend the graduate common room opening hours and create more workshops and social events for postgraduates.
Your vote will give you the opportunity to elect someone to take forward issues that matter to you. Do you think the union could do more for postgraduates? Are you an international student who thinks that the Union could better serve you? Be heard and elect the candidates that you feel can confidently take on important issues.
The role of the MPS officer, which is particularly relevant to postgraduates, is a contested position in the upcoming election. Read the manifestos of two current postgraduates running for the MPS position here:
