This Spring UCLU have undertaken a major survey to find out what YOU want out of YOUR Student Union. Thanks to all students who took part, helping to shape the future of UCLU.
The Survey
The survey ran from 9th - 28th March and had 2,713 respondents.
It is intended that this one off survey will give us a greater understanding of what we should be doing for you. The results will help to inform a strategic plan, ensuring that UCLU can do its best to meet the needs of all UCL students over the next three to five years.

Celebrate the end of exams and and help shape the future of your Union at our our Ideas Cafe.
This March UCLU carried out a campus wide survey of our membership to find out what you want from your Students' Union. An unprecedented number of you took part in this survey and after studying the results carefully, we have identified some key areas to focus our attention on.
However, before we do we want you input into this process. The ideas Cafe will be a very lighthearted and easy way for you to look over what we are doing and contribute your views.
All UCL Students are welcome, whether you see yourself as a regular UCLU user or if you never had anything to do with us. Even if you are about to leave UCL, we want to know what you think.
The big plus to all this is that there will be free food on offer with a barbeque. So please come along and have a chat with our sabbatical officers over a couple of hotdogs and a can of coke.

1. Focus Groups
A range of focus groups took place during February to assess views of UCL students, to help structure the questions for the online survey - perhaps you even attended one.
2. Survey Live
The survey was available online from 9th-28th March with a fantastic response rate: 2,713 students.
3. Ideas Cafe: "The Big Barbie", 3rd June, Print Room Cafe

Our plan shaping the next three to five years will be formulated over the summer, with further consultation taking place next academic year. Our aim at the end of this process will be to have a robust and relevant plan that will focus on meeting the needs of UCL students. Most importantly, it will have been created all thanks to your input.

Claire Whitbred - iPod Winner
Claire is an Undergraduate affiliate student studying English Literature and Philosophy. She's been here for the entire year, doing her junior year abroad from her home university, Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.

Luke is an Undergraduate studying Mathematics, hailing from Helmshore in Lancashire.
Georgia Lazarou - iPod Winner
Georgia is a first year Undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering.
