I hope to build a stronger international students community. I want international students' lives to be better at UCL, our voices to be heard, and our needs to be met. I will support our officer to run engaging and inclusive events, bringing together our current and incoming international students, promoting intercultural experiences for us.

Taking the role of social secretary, I am also hoping for a smoother running of the International Student's Network achieved by my contributions. We will see an improved International Students Orientation Programme next year and more cultural celebrations!

What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

I will bring my leadership experiences and fresh ideas. I have over five years of experiences in events organising, enriching me with strong organisation and problem-solving skills. Events I had organised ranged from small-scale webinars to large-scale conferences.

As an international student myself, I understand challenges faced by us so I can design the most proper activities and most effective help that meet international students' needs. I also have a strong network with the incoming international students, facilitating me to improve our Orientation Programme that best fits their needs.

As the network social secretary, I will take the role seriously, organising engaging and inclusive activities for everyone to enjoy. And I will listen carefully to your ideas and expectations on UCL. If you have any new suggestions on us, just come to me and me and my team will let it happen!

I am passionate about making positive changes on international students' life at UCL so let us path our way together!
