We're your UCL Students' Union store and the place to go for your favourite UCL merchandise. From hats to hoodies, sports bags to fancy pens, we've got you sorted.
Sure we look good, but what makes us different?
Every penny spent in The Hanger goes towards improving the student community as we reinvest all our profits into developing better services and opportunities for all students.
This means any purchase you make could go on to help support funding clubs, societies, advice services, support and more.
Secondly, we place planet over profit by making sustainability a deal breaker with the products we stock. For example our premium hoodies all have very high sustainability credentials with no less than 6 different certifications!

We're open Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00 and closed on bank holidays.

- How can I buy products from The Hanger?
You can either shop our full range in person at The Hanger, or you can order online for delivery (UK and international) or Click and Collect in store.
- The item I want is sold out. When will it be back in stock?
Unfortunately we can’t always give an exact date when items will be restocked, however if a product is out of stock, you'll have an option to be notified when it comes back in stock on the product page.
If there is a particular item you are after and are worried about when it will be back in stock, please email us at [email protected] and a member of the team will do their best to answer your question.- How much is delivery?
This will depend on the parcel's destination and weight however generally Royal Mail First Class deliveries cost £4.99 for UK skipping on orders up to 2kg.
International shipping to all their global destinations costs £29.99 on orders up to 2kg
Click and Collect is free.- Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We're pleased to say we can now deliver all orders internationally. We use Royal Mail to ship our products meaning we can delivery to any of their global destinations. The price you pay for postage will be calculated at checkout but is usually a base rate of £29.99 for all orders up to 2kg
- Delivery Terms and conditions. When can I expect my item?
We try to process all orders as quickly as possible meaning we aim for all orders placed after 1pm Monday - Thursday will be processed the following day.
For orders placed after 1pm Friday, and over the weekend we aim to process these the following Monday morning (or next working day where there is a bank holiday).We use Royal Mail First class for all orders so please allow approximately 3 days for delivery for UK items. International shipping estimates will depend on your location.
The Hanger is open Monday - Friday 10:00 – 18:00 during term time and 11:00 – 15:00 outside term time. We are closed Saturday Sunday and during the Easter and Christmas vacations, please see website for accurate information nearer the time.Great news, our Click and Collect service is free! Click and Collect orders can only be collected during The Hangers opening hours cannot be picked up outside of these opening times. You should wait for an email from The Hanger saying your item is available to collect before visiting the shop.
- How does Click & Collect work?
Click and Collect is our free delivery option and allows you to collect any online orders from the Hanger (or occasionally one of our pop up shops on campus e.g. during graduation). Full information about where to collect your order will be included with your email confirmation.
Often we are able to process Click and Collect orders on the same day of ordering, however you will need to wait for an email from The Hanger telling you your product is available to collect.
You can collect your order during The Hanger's normal opening hours and will need to bring your order number and a form of ID.
You will have 28 days to collect your merchandise from The Hanger.- Can I return or exchange items?
If you wish to return or exchange an item, please complete the returns form and email it to [email protected].
We will replace or refund items that are found to be faulty upon delivery, however we stringently check all products prior to packaging and shipping. We will need to be in receipt of the damaged goods prior to refunding or replacing. This can be sent back to us via Royal Mail or other means to the shop address. You have 6 months to report damaged or faulty goods.
We are unable to refund items that are unwanted, for example, incorrect size or change of mind, however a replacement will be offered in these circumstances. Please note that a delivery fee will be chargeable to ship the replacement. You have 28 days should you wish to return goods under these circumstances.
We are unable to cover the cost of return postage for returns & exchanges. If you request a refund, we will process your request within 10 working days of receiving the item(s) and confirm this has been completed by email. The money should be credited back to your original payment card within 5 days.
If you request an exchange, we will process & dispatch your requested item (subject to availability) within 3-5 working days. If there is a difference in price, you will have to pay (or will be credited) the difference. You may also be asked to cover the return postage cost.
